Lab-grown diamonds are 100% pure carbon, meaning they are identical in every way to mined diamonds apart from the origin.
Grown from a seed of diamond, the process is similar to how it would occur naturally, meaning that every diamond is different and varies in colour and clarity. We only offer lab-grown diamonds that are between E-J colour and VVS1 – SI clarity.
Our lab-grown diamonds are all independently certified by leading grading institutes and the certification depends on the grower that we source the stone from.
We only partner with growers that are dedicated to producing type 11A diamonds (the highest grading possible) making them harder and more brilliant than regular diamonds. We seek growers who are committed to sustainability and environmental best practice, by already using 100% renewable energy or committed to becoming fully sustainable in the creation of their diamonds in the future, using renewable energy where possible to offset their carbon emissions.

Ethica Diamonds are not lab grown diamonds, but lab grown stones, precisely cut from silicone carbide (moissanite) with a lab diamond infusion, offering the same toughness and longevity as diamonds. They truly radiate the same sparkle and brilliance as the finest diamonds and are made to last forever, to be passed on through the generations, without carrying the high cost and environmental toll associated with natural mined diamonds.
Each stone is grown under strict conditions, cut by hand and fully faceted to exact diamond proportions, giving each stone incredible depth and sparkle, and independently certified by the IGI or GRI.
Furthermore, the pricing is set according to manufacturing and retail costs, not to the artificially fixed diamond pricing structure.
We stock two types of Ethica Diamonds: those which are certified by the GRI and those which are certified by the IGI. The GRI graded Ethica Diamonds are our standard stones and available in all shapes, whereas the IGI graded Ethica Diamonds carry the patented technology and are currently only available in the Round Brilliant shape.
Both stones are visually indistinguishable, and the GRI and IGI grading labs both follow international grading standards.

The toll diamond mining has on people and our planet is exactly the reason why Ethica Diamonds started. Since 2010, we have been leading the way in offering alternatives to mined diamonds that are just as beautiful and offer all of the same benefits.
